Fabrizio De André
De André? The music is immediately felt... this indicates that De André's music is just accompaniment... jolly lyrics... let's say there's a school-like combinatorial skill... I don't find the music interesting... yes, one thing is clear, he pretends to be poor, but in the end, he's a well-off bourgeois like much of Italian music. more
Lino Banfi
The best among all the comedians of the '70s. Above Abatantuono and Calà, the various Boldi and De Sica, slightly a notch above Paolo Villaggio and Alvaro Vitali. A unique legend. His trash movies are to die for!!!! more
Alvaro Vitali
Fuck all those who call him an idiot. He's a fucking legend, damn it!! more
of Montreal
Another band from the Elephant6 collective alongside the huge Olivia Tremor Control, the modest Apples In Stereo in my opinion, and others. What can I say, at least a couple of great albums in the early phase of their career are undeniable ['The Gay Parade' and 'Coquelicot Asleep In The...']. Too bad that at a certain point they started to suck in my opinion. At least for me. 4 for the excellent early phase, up to 'Coquelicot'. more
Neil Young -Harvest
This is my Neil Young album; I simply adore it, from the first to the last note. Even after decades, it continues to give me the same emotions, with its calm, simple, romantic flow. The ten songs are absolute gems that will never cease to send shivers down my spine with every new listening, as if it were the first: an eternal return of infinite beauty. "Old Man," "Out On The Weekend," "Alabama," "Words (Between The Lines Of Age)"...THE ABSOLUTE... more

This record is history. Okay, it's a bit all the same... but it takes you on a journey, let's be honest. more
Porcupine Tree -The Sky Moves Sideways
Echoes of "Shine On" in the very long title track, the best song on the album and among the best pieces birthed by Wilson. A truly great album. more
Porcupine Tree -Fear Of A Blank Planet
Come and tell me it's not the best album of the 2000s. Every track is a masterpiece, the lyrics are the best of the career, and the music is incredibly inspiring and engaging. more
Porcupine Tree -In Absentia
What a masterpiece, oh my God. At least 6/7 songs that make you feel orgasmic. Lyrics, music... it has it all. Collapse The Light Into Earth brings tears. more
Josiah
Classic three-piece formation, English: Heavy-fuzz-stoner-psychedelic-hard that screams. A crazed crossover between Kyuss and Monster Magnet...DEVASTATING...Their self-titled album from 2002 is a must-listen: a cosmic-laser journey reminiscent of the seventies. more
Ray Charles -The Genius Hits The Road
Second album I buy from Ray Charles and I've hit another bullseye. An absolute masterpiece, even superior to the other one I have, that is the debut from 1957 which I already liked a lot (of course, with tracks like "Mess Around," "Hallelujah I Love Her So," "Losing Hand," "Sinner's Prayer"). This is an album practically without flaws, just over half an hour long and filled with only great songs, some on the edge of perfection. Beautiful. more
