Lowell George -Thanks I'll Eat It Here
The "testament" of a great artist, capable of influencing American music in the '70s with his ideas and creativity. His only solo album, produced after the dissolution of his creature, "Little Feat," contains excellent songs, played with the collaboration of great musicians like Hopkins, Porcaro, Bonnie Raitt, and Paine. Above all, the wonderful "Find a River," a true gem of a great album. Such a pity about the premature death, which occurred on June 29, 1979... more
Alice In Chains -Dirt
In my opinion, the perfect album by the Seattle band, dark, determined, sick, and played as God intended. Great classics, from the opener "Them Bones" to the haunting "Down in a Hole," which brought me back to my 15 years after I listened to it carefully again these days. Staley's voice remains one of the best in rock... more
The Who
"It's just teenage desolation," they said. I find some of their lyrics truly poetic. For me, along with Zeppelin, the essence of ROCK. Immense from 1967 to 1973. Indefinable. "The Who Sell Out," "Tommy," "Live at Leeds," "Who's Next," and "Quadrophenia" the best of the best. "Is it me? For a moment, the stars are falling." more

Giovanni Allevi
He is a mediocre who had a couple of pop insights that aren’t too bad. You, the sub-species of nonconformists who think what "must be thought" and not what critical and personal judgment offers. Forty thousand definitions and the same old stuff keeps piling up. Tomorrow they’ll tell you what else is wrong and you’ll believe it. Allevi is a gnat and you keep wanting to kill him. Immense suffering. more

But above all, thanks to Scaruffo, I find out that as the former ringtone of my cell phone, I had an exuberant polyrhythmic piece driven by a glorious melodic progression. You didn't have it, as a ringtone...? Your problem... more
Rapeman -Two Nuns And A Pack Mule
Even more eloquent than Atomizer, this new project that will result in only this LP is of incredible power. Inferior to the previous one, but more eloquent in terms of lyrics and the very name of the band. It's as if with their music the Rapeman were violating the mind of the unsuspecting (?) listener. But the violation is not of a negative nature, as it involves music that is genuinely enjoyable and accessible. To be consumed once a day. 8/10 more

Agalloch -The Serpent & the Sphere
One of the best works I've listened to in 2014; the fifth album by the American band Agalloch contains all the characteristics of a sound that has pushed the boundaries of Black Metal towards an executional depth that leaves me cold...yet fascinated by it all. And it's natural for me to mention the track "Dark Matter Gods," which well represents the feral and epic sound of a group that has pointed the way for a new form of heavy Metal...CELESTIAL... more
