An icon of ruooooooock! Exhilarating in many moments, but a bit cliché in others. May rock (and sasquatch) be with you, great one! :D more

Oh, just the name would be enough for the 5 stars. If they then included that rotten, dirty, violent first-wave screamo, like very few others, it just happens automatically. more
Year 1969, an excellent debut for the underground English band. Viola, cello, oboe, dreamy and Middle Eastern psychedelic sounds, very free and unique, a delightful album... more
Three reasons to give this man five stars: 1) He has the perfect last name for a Fiatista, 2) He contributed a remarkable solo performance on a masterpiece called Rock Bottom, 3) After playing with the most important names from Canterbury, he started composing and performing for the porn films produced and directed by his partner and her friends. Legendary! more

Their debut "Descend Into the Absurd" is arguably the best German death metal album. more

Poetry and melancholy. Excellent debut album, only inferior to Pink Moon in my opinion, "Fruit Tree" is my absolute favorite of the bunch. more
Little to say about this timeless masterpiece. Six tracks, each more beautiful than the last, that are relatively easy to listen to compared to his other excellent works as well. Chapeau. more

Don't forget that these gentlemen have sold the most records in all of music history in England alone, surpassing even the founding fathers of Rock, The Beatles. Ok, we understand each other. more
June 1994: the sweltering summer sees the birth of Helmet's third album; a bucolic cover that immediately showcases Page Hamilton's intent to somewhat distance himself from the musical violence of the previous two works. Adding strength to this is the arrival of new guitarist Rob Echeverria, replacing Peter Mengede; however, there are still disruptive songs like "I Know" and "Milquetoast" with that "bone-crushing" sound so familiar to us...COMPRESSED... more
I have a mixed relationship with Battisti: I appreciate some things, others less. I have never been able to find an album of his that satisfies me in its entirety. I see him as too constrained by the song form (even in the more "experimental" and prog tracks) and never free to fully express himself as a musician and composer during his time with Mogol. "Anima Latina" is the exception. A masterpiece. more
