In 1993, Deborah Harry gathered a host of producers and released her fourth solo album: the single "I Can See Clearly," produced by Arthur Baker, reached number 23 on the UK chart. The second single "Strike Me Pink," produced by Anne Dudley of "Art of Noise," has a video that was censored, showing a man drowning in a glass tank. Then "Standing in My Way," which also features a duet with Joey Ramone, is produced by John Williams, "Keep on Going," a bilingual ballad, is produced by Jon Astley, "Dog Star Girl" is written by William Gibson, the father of the Cyber-Punk movement, while "Communion" is produced by Guy Pratt. Among the most enjoyable tracks are the rock 'n' roll "Dancing Down the Moon" by the Harry-Stein duo, "Rain" written by Leight Foxx, where Debbie provides a good vocal performance, and the sensual ballad "Mood Ring" orchestrated by Anne Dudley. There's no lack of rap in "Stability," and in the USA version of the CD, there's also a track produced by R.E.M. "My Last Date." "Debravation" reached the top 25 in the UK, and it's an excellent crossover album for those who are not satisfied with the usual pop starlets.
