Deasonika. The name is not very original. Anyway, let's listen to them… The first song strongly reminds me of the old Marlene Kunts… how should I take it? Is it an outrage, a copy, or a tribute? I'll wait… let's listen to the whole thing… I listen to it all in one go… I can't judge it… it took me by surprise… but… let's see, let's listen again…

I move on to the second listen and I'm already starting to hum along to the songs without having the lyrics in front of me… bobbing my head and miming the guitar… what's happening to me? The first part of the CD totally engages me… the first six songs are all rock with a sound that's not very Italian… like in the first track, sometimes they remind me of Marlene, but the hypnotic voice, when it moves away from Godano's style, is really beautiful and original with an enviable falsetto. The bass throughout the album is well present and adds depth to all the tracks, and together with the drums, they make the rhythm section almost of American production quality. Regarding the CD… "Piccoli dettagli al buio"… I already like the title and the more I listen to it, the more it grabs me… I download it onto my portable mp3 player and take it around with me a bit… The more I listen, the more I hear new sounds under each arrangement… the second part of the album, more introspective and intimate, which didn't captivate me at first, now involves me… the lyrics are clear and understandable, which is no small feat in the Italian scene. The harmonies, structure, and even the use of effects are very beautiful and original; adding flanger to the drums on a track I found to be a stroke of genius.
