THE REVIEW

David Toop is an exhibitionist of pure sound, a collector of sounds and definitions.

Puddles, avoiding any concrete form of construction. Pure narcissism of the difficult, the questionable, avoiding any form of empathy with the listener. He plays only for himself, magnificent sounds that rarely take shape. Fascinating abstract geometries, electronic concatenations with rare melodic scales difficult to grasp. Pure abstraction for polished magazines.

It wouldn't be so bad if only David Toop would lower his gaze towards us common listeners, not too accustomed to oceans of sound without a shore to land on.

Summary by Bot

David Toop's Entities Inertias Faint Beings is an abstract, experimental album focusing on intricate soundscapes and complex melodic patterns. While the music is fascinating and polished, it avoids conventional structure and accessibility. The review suggests Toop plays primarily for himself, which may challenge casual listeners seeking familiarity or empathy. Overall, an intriguing but demanding sound experience.
