David Bromberg

American multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter, born 1945, known for guitar and fiddle, active since the 1960s and noted for blending blues, folk and country.

Learned guitar and violin; noted for flat-picking and blues influence. Worked extensively as a session musician (review notes participation on over one hundred records and appearances on three Bob Dylan albums), formed the Bromberg Band, released key albums including My Own House and Try Me One More Time (2007).
