Damian Robert Nesta Marley (born 21 July 1978) is a Jamaican reggae artist, the youngest son of Bob Marley and Cindy Breakspeare, known for blending reggae, dancehall and hip-hop.

He is known as Junior/Jr. Gong; notable albums include Mr. Marley, Halfway Tree and Welcome to Jamrock. He collaborated with Nas on the Distant Relatives project. Welcome to Jamrock was produced with contributions from Stephen Marley. He has won Grammy Awards in reggae categories.

The review praises Damian Marley's talent and his modernization of reggae (blending roots, dancehall, hip-hop and R&B). It highlights the title single "Welcome to Jamrock" and the Nas collaboration "Road to Zion." The critic notes some tracks feel too tailored for American radio, giving the album a two-sided character.
