1989.. THIRD album for the Danish quartet, "No Fuel Left For The Pilgrims".

The album immediately kicks off with a very pleasant and direct rhythm of SLEEPING MY DAY AWAY, characterized by very Southern Rock sounds, melodic and with a very slide guitar, almost Blues. The following track JIHAD is characterized by a very hard sound and continuous key changes that make the piece very captivating. The third track - in my humble opinion the most successful - is POINT OF VIEW which alternates regular guitars with slide guitars with a hint of Stoner. RIM OF HELL is another taste of stoner with very dominant choirs and a vocal performance that I would define as sublime, a beautiful track. With the fifth track ZCMI the rhythm suddenly rises, delivering a truly compelling sound. It continues with TRUE BELIEVER and then reaches GIRL NATION with a slide guitar intro and increasingly warm vocals and extraordinary choruses. With LORD OF THE ATLAS you find yourself in what I would define as the most classic of American hard rock - certainly not Danish - another great track. OVERMUCH continues with very hard sounds, even harder than the previous one, followed by SIAMESE TWIN and WILD TALK. The album closes with ILL WILL which presents itself with a much harder sound, especially in the guitars, at times bordering on Speed Metal with clear Punk echoes.

An excellent album, the best from the Danish quartet, in my humble opinion. However, I recommend both the previous works and the more recent ones. A great group too underrated even after years, and frankly, it has never been understood why, given that both technically, vocally, and compositionally, they clearly surpass bands like Guns'n'Roses and other such bands.
