Describe Oneirology to me, you idiot. Explain why I should consider it a masterpiece, you piece of crap.

See, it's not an album that requires much explanation. You have to experience it. I can describe it to you, I can tell you it perfectly combines the intricate rap of Deacon The Villain and Natti with the soul and electronics of producer Kno, revolving around a concept that deals with the study of dreams, and for this very reason, the atmosphere feels unreal, but the point is you really have to live it. Get yourself a ticket to a dream dimension, where dream and reality blend and blur; it’s the entrance to a dream, to an alternative dimension, where colors are faded, and sounds are confused. You're in your room and within 5 seconds, you're flying over a sleeping metropolis. In the air, there's just a distant echo, but it's nothing....

It's a bit like if the album encapsulates the sounds of a midsummer night: that's it, sort of. But that's not enough. So try to think back to the last time you slept with her: remember the surreal calm, the warmth of her body, the tactile sensation of stroking her hair, and her relaxed breathing, a gentle sound that involuntarily floods the entire room. Remember the warmth under the covers, that essential warmth, warming your soul; remember the peace inside your head, your thoughts unable to breathe and your worries drowning. Remember the strength of that window in keeping this cruel world out, trying in every way to enter, miserably failing. Remember that time when you had nothing to say, because you couldn't think of anything, except her sleeping serenely. Remember when you still felt alive. There you go, that's what this album is.

Cunninlynguists: Oneirology is Abstract-Rap by definition. I don't think there's anything else to say. Press play, and stop.
