Cuby + Blizzards are a Dutch blues band led by singer Harry “Cuby” Muskee and guitarist Eelco Gelling, formed in Grolloo in the 1960s. They became national blues icons, gained international attention, and featured pianist Herman Brood in their classic lineup. Landmark albums include Desolation, Groeten uit Grollo, and Trippin’ Thru’ A Midnight Blues.

Awarded an Edison after their debut; toured with the Spencer Davis Group; forged ties with John Mayall and recorded with Eddie Boyd (Praise the Blues); drew interest from Alexis Korner (documented on Live! At Düsseldorf); opened for Fleetwood Mac; lineup shifts followed, with breaks and revivals into the 1990s.
