Five people in five different cities enjoy blending their own sonic universes.
An artistic process in complete freedom, an experimental rhizome in search of the music of the future.
A sort of escape from homogenization, or from simplistic categorizations, to loudly reaffirm the need to feel unique.

These are the Cougar, not just well-prepared musicians and masters of modern technologies, but above all artists capable of freeing and shaping their own creativity.
What they want is to amaze, and to be amazed. To translate into sound that tide that stirs in the heart and soul. A tide that knows no shores.
And “Patriot,” the group's second work, is an album that feeds on its own freshness.
Rich in ethereal melodies, suspended in precarious gravitational balances.
Intricate and irregular rhythms, trapped in webs of samples.
Electronic roars that burst forth and wound.
And then there are the guitars, dictating contrasting moods, between aggressive distortions and delicate acoustic streams.
A sonic magma in constant motion, never the same, hypnotic and disorienting.
We could call it electronic post-rock with psychedelic temptations.
But besides being a tedious definition, it wouldn't even be exhaustive.

There’s nothing left but to close your eyes and immerse yourself once more in the multicolored world of the Cougar.
It cannot leave you indifferent.
