About a hundred years ago, during the years of World War I, there were places almost unknown, shrouded in mystery and legend. Places difficult to reach, dangerous, full of pitfalls. The Amazon, the banks of the great rivers, the Indian villages, unknown languages and animals. Times now gone, in the era of the information orgy, the lack of doubt. Unshakeable uncertainties. A mystery remains, the unexplored one within ourselves. Of our soul.

This must be what drove Cosmo, voice and frontman of Drink To Me, to create his first solo album. In Italian. Evocations, snapshots of existentialism, thrown between the paths of daily life, in a reality that serves as a backdrop in the continuous inner search. "Disordine" surprises in this very aspect, in the creation of a completely abstract imaginary disconnected from any earthly contact, almost as if it were wrapped in a parallel space, not so much dreamlike, as imaginative and metaphysical, detached from the dictatorship of things, elevated to the power of perception. The states of our existence. A mad and senseless hope, that of "Ho visto un Dio", and its vision of a deity as a lifesaver, almost as if it were the last rescue button from a squalid world, from a brutal and cruel society. Timid, yet naive belief, childish awareness. The incommunicability, as a degeneration of man, the loneliness of "Numeri e Parole", the contradiction of a world full of acquired certainties, of acquired knowledge, useless, annulled by the atomism of our sociality, that of people connected to every corner of the planet, yet unaware of human contact, even if close, even if instinctive. What remains? A soundtrack, echoes of Grimes, Neon Indian, openings, a series of evocations, insane and kaleidoscopic slides of our existence. Disordered, like a concept of logic always changing, like the axioms of our consciousness, always changing, as uncertain. Elusive to any rationalization.

A changeable destiny, like the mood, like the clouds that colored the Amazonian sky in the sunset, the plants, the mirror of the rivers. Those that ultimately reconnect you to your home, those that make you feel part of a world, always the same with itself, at the end. Like in the title track, "Nessuno potrà mai rubarti questo". Human, despite the mysteries, despite the mythologizing. Despite everything.
