Cory Morrow in his parts is a real legend. It's not just simple country; it can't be dismissed so quickly. Cory Morrow maintains the freshness and slightly simplistic and melodic tunes typical of certain country music but spices up his melodies with author folk pop and southern music.

The result is an absolutely refreshing and sunny sound, which rightfully places him in the tradition of American author music. Beautiful, this "Brand New Me", with some truly noteworthy pieces that make us reflect on how often the record market is unfair on our side.

First of all, the opening track "Lead Me On", a very inspired and sunny country rock. Then the eponymous "Brand New Me", a pop ballad tinged with Tex country sounds, a real gem for lovers of this music. Another gem of this beautiful album is "Lonesome", a piece full of energy and light. There are also more intimate moments in the album. "The Way I Do" for example, which seems to have come out of a record by the boss.

The common thread is certainly the rural sounds, but in a much broader framework. It's not about sheep and chickens in a remote American farm (!!!) but about a sound that warms and soothes the spirit. Ideal for those who want to unplug and enjoy some moments of alienation from the daily hustle and bustle. Young and talented artist this Cory Morrow. You will hardly hear him on the radio or see him on MTV, but sometimes it's worth going beyond what is offered to us, which is often garbage!!!

Worth listening to.
