THE REVIEW

I will not be brief at all, I find no reason to be.

In 2001, Gianni Maroccolo produced this masterpiece to pass on to posterity what the C.S.I. were. A marvel of harmony and rare lyricism in a country like ours, which moves forward like a crab. 'Noi non ci saremo' is composed of two volumes in which all six years of official and unofficial activity of the group are revisited.

The CD opens with two remixes of two of the most representative tracks from the album 'Ko De Mondo', the opening track "A Tratti" free carrier of the wise refrain "Chi c'è c'è chi non c'è non c'è", sped up compared to the original and "rocked," so much so that it becomes a true gem for all lovers of the group's punk rock soul in the last two minutes (of just guitar-drums). The other is "Intimisto", a track of rare beauty, whose version highlights the lyrics more than the music, compared to the original where Ferretti was overshadowed by the harmony and this time finds a perfect balance with the instruments. This track gives us the majestic Ferrettian lyricism, always simple, calm and in this case even minimalist. Able to sing sorrowfully and serenely about his deepest despairs. "E gli occhi tuoi mi rubano la luce, perché tu possa splendere nei miei, allora non rimane niente e te ne vai".
