Conlon Nancarrow (1912–1997) was an American-born composer best known for his Studies for Player Piano.

Born 1912, died 1997. Moved to Mexico in 1940 and lived there for much of his life. Best known for composing Studies for Player Piano using player-piano rolls and for exploring tempo canons and complex rhythmic structures.
