Remember this name. Four letters lined up for an acronym that gives hope to the new Italian music scene.
Signed by the label founded by the Piedmontese Gatto Ciliegia (another important name in the Italian indie scene), the trio releases a great album.
Very courageous in being very "theatrical" in attitude but not for this reason difficult to appreciate.

The album in question consists of twelve tracks, each more beautiful than the last, which occupy a certain track in singer-songwriter music, although in this case with hints of post-rock experimentalism.
The group uses countless "tools" that, in addition to the usual guitar-bass-drums trio, include cellos, trombones, double basses, harmonium, samples, and much more to best express their sound geometries.
Notable is the presence of highly inspired lyrics, inclined towards poetry and a particular way of playing the instruments.

The album's content ranges from the never trivial lightness of songs like Gatta, Pugile, and Giulia to self-criticisms (the spot-on Mea culpa), to the enchanting Mellifluo, with those clarinet verses that bring a tear to your eye. In the midst is the extreme electronics of Tubi and the diary of Stefano Giaccone in the cultured and fascinating Agosto, Torino, Pavese.

In short, an album to purchase without hesitation, also to give a boost to this independent scene that we have in Italy but need to make emerge.
Recommended even to those who know nothing about post-rock (but want to understand) yet are very familiar with De André or Guccini, for example.
