It's difficult to listen to this album and not be struck... impressed. Difficult if not impossible. The style, as usual, is the unmistakable "Dogo" inimitable, unique.
The album opens with "Niente per niente" which, if I'm not mistaken, is the shortest track on the album (almost as if it were a sort of introduction) and from there, one can already grasp the style that unfolds in the rest of the tracklist. The next, "D.O.G.O.", is practically the anthem of the Milanese crew where, in the chorus, the letters of their emblem are repeated. "Perhaps it's autobiographical that the symbol of my crew is a dog," wonders Jake La Furia... perhaps... but perhaps not.
"Butto via tutto" is accompanied in the chorus by the unmistakable sirens of the police, where they say "Arriva la volante e non c'è più nessuno" and I would like to see! "Una volta sola", on the other hand, is the most expressive and methodical, it's the main single of the album which also has quite a good video to go with it! The most significant ones, both in terms of beats and lyrics, in my opinion, are, besides those mentioned above, "Cani sciolti" and "La testa gira". The backdrop of these lyrics is always the street and its protagonists, those who live it every day.
The beauty of this album, in my opinion, lies in the explicitness of its content, the reality conveyed without censorship just as we live it. A reality, whether beautiful or ugly, always told directly.
Awaiting the new "Vile Denaro" to be released on May 18, 2007 (Can't wait!)

Penna Capitale could be defined as the definitive album of Italian hip-hop.
Having to choose, I pick Una Volta Sola as the best song on the album; it is a reflection on life in general that is truly well done.
