Rating: The two Milanese rappers, Jake la furia and the guercio, release the album "Mi Fist" with the production support of don joe, in my opinion, the best release of 2003.
The duo of MCs, already known for the work "3 mc al cubo" released under the name sacre scuole (the old lineup also included Dargento), manage to blend complex and effective lyrics with one of the best metrics in the Italian scene, a lexicon rich in references, quotations, and unusual rhymes, completed by the diverse nature beats provided by don joe, who in some tracks allows himself some rapped verses (as a former MC).
The atmospheres and contents range from women to politics with a constant backdrop of pure street rap. 15 songs plus 3 interludes, an intro and an outro, creating a record that is a must-have in the discography of every proud b-boyz. The collaborations are very well-chosen, featuring guests like Vincenzo aken in "sangue e filigrana", Lamaislam (from PMC) in "indecifrabili".
In conclusion, I recommend everyone to buy (or better yet, burn) "Mi Fist", which is, in my opinion, destined to become a milestone of Italian rap.
