English progressive/psychedelic rock group formed around 1970 by Andy Clark (keyboards) and Mick Hutchinson (guitar). They released three early-1970s albums including A = MH2, Retribution and Gestalt.

Started as a duo (Andy Clark and Mick Hutchinson) and recorded three albums in the early 1970s. A = MH2 is an instrumental, improvisation-heavy record highlighting Hutchinson's guitar. Retribution features an expanded lineup (adding Amazing Stephen on bass and Den Coverley on drums) and a harder, blues-influenced sound.

Two reviews praise Clark-Hutchinson's early-1970s work. A = MH2 is described as an instrumental prog landmark with standout guitar. Retribution shifts to bluesy, harder rock. The band began as a duo (Clark and Hutchinson) and expanded for later recordings.

Andy Clark and Mick Hutchinson form a duo that in the early '70s recorded three albums of excellent craftsmanship, although the first one, which I will describe, is decidedly on another level compared to the subsequent "Retribution" and "Gestalt".
