THE REVIEW

Albums of 2015 Part 7. Let's make it clear right away that until a few hours ago, I didn’t know what I was getting into. After a couple of listens, I concluded that this album is as if the Wire in the making of Chairs Missing, had John Lydon from PIL as a leader, all set in 1988, after hardcore had well permeated the bourgeois substratum and post-hardcore was peeking through. Wales, obviously set in Great Britain. It’s nice to see how English bands distance themselves from their more beat roots and seek transatlantic paths. Beautiful songs: All Ghosts To Medicine Counter Four, Standard Issue Griff (it has nothing to do with the rest, but it's nice to be the English imitating the Americans who imitate the English)
