Crude comedy from 1992 directed and starred by Christian De Sica featuring Renato Pozzetto, not at his best.

The story revolves around the wealthy Ricky (Pozzetto), who is saved from a suicide attempt by the homeless Barabba (De Sica). The standout character is De Sica, who manages to wonderfully portray a penniless man with a shred of dignity and is more than convincing. The strange forced duo sets off in search of the rich man's wife, and through travels, restaurants, hospitals, luxury hotels, dumps, and parties, they forge a curious bond that bears fruit. One will save the other and vice versa.

The lowest scenes include Barabba's loud belch at a classy restaurant, where Ricky no longer knows how to justify the presence of such a bizarre character at the table and describes him as a "dialectal poet" and "Bob Dylan's barber." Or the hospital scene where the entire ward gets involved in an absurd quiz to remember a word. While Pozzetto loses all his financial resources due to the schemes of his unfaithful wife, the good Barabba supports him friendly and helps him get back on his feet just in time for a second suicide attempt. It's a pity that Pozzetto is less brilliant than usual, still effective, but De Sica steals the show with his slapstick expressions. In the end, the two become rich and happy.

A rather predictable happy end for a light and racy adventure.
