Lately (and by lately I mean late 2009-today) I often find myself, musically speaking, in Scandinavia, but by chance, like that, without wanting to: Likke li, Perro del mar, The knife etc.

Lately (and by lately this time I mean late March) they pass me the CD of Chiarastella (yes, to me, x factor 2007 or 2008, I don't remember, I don't know, I could look it up but I won't, would it be useful?) "Pianeta Venere" now I’m going numerical, 11 tracks, 3 tracks so-so, 3 catchy tracks, but and this is the reason, 5 tracks that I find truly noteworthy.

The leitmotif is a very clean electronic under a very clear voice, guitars, bass, and drums weave into the programming in 50% of the album. Now I'll be categorical:

elegance zone: come le rondini, molly bloom

masterpiece zone: una ballata di polvere, on the romantic side.

A Nordic and delicate voice.

I don't know if I've already told you, but lately I often find myself, musically speaking, in Scandinavia, Chiarastella is the most Nordic voice I've heard in recent times below the Alps. If you have others, please contact me.

This album... brings a breath of fresh air into the stale panorama of the Italian music scene.

A very poetic text make this last track a small masterpiece, which will unfortunately go unnoticed and unheard by most.
