The sumptuous Cesare "Numa" Pompilio, the fan's meat, the frog-shaped fat man who emigrated from Comiso to Milan and is a die-hard Juventus fan (and most importantly, an unconditional defender of Luciano Moggi), after entertaining us on TV (where he continues to wreak havoc with his good-natured face) on Telelombardia's cult show "Qsvs," has finally ventured, as his Milanista colleague Tiziano Crudeli did before him, into the magical world of Italian music.

His sensational single "Moggi è innocente" (a sort of rap in which he gushes all his love for our national Lucianone while lashing out at the new Juventus management; it should be noted that the song was recorded in 2010, before the Conte era and during the turbulent days of Del Neri's management) is a beautiful tribute to the world of involuntary trash of which he is the absolute and total Master. If Oronzo Canà is already a legend, if trash has long since been elevated to a culture of at least respectable, if not superior, caliber, why can't our dear Cesare carve out his slice of fame thanks to a lively and upbeat track?

The video is sensational, shot in Milan between Corso Buenos Aires and Porta Venezia, with him stopping passers-by with the shout "do you get it or not? Moggi is innocent," even shouting it at a child in a stroller. And people play along, getting involved with the good-natured Cesare, a friend to all of us TV viewers who love football and trash at all costs.

Then maybe (or rather certainly) Moggi is not innocent at all, but man, does Pompi pump it up.

And for those uninitiated who might have missed it, too busy listening to their Frank Zappa or Deep Purple, the full video is on YouTube. Well, what are you still doing on this useless review? Is it possible that the Pompilation hasn't infected you yet?
