This year, the Bolognese artist has also reached the point in his career where he decides to release a best-of, which for him happens after only four albums—three solo and one with the ''Lunapop''.

Upon closer examination, the album is composed of two CDs with a total of twenty-five tracks, two of which are previously unreleased, ''Mondo'' and ''Hello''.

The first one turns out to be a pleasant song, a pop product but well-packaged, featuring Jovanotti, who fortunately manages to hold his own, as it is not a true duet (thank heavens). This track is therefore in line with those produced by Cesare in his latest works.

The second unreleased track features Malika Ayane, his current partner, who attempts to enhance the song, ultimately succeeding, even though the lyrics are not exactly extraordinary. The album continues with Cesare's past hits, including those from the youthful band ''Lunapop'', reaching up to the more recent album ''Il primo bacio sulla luna''. The flaw of this album, however, is the excessive number of tracks, as if he were a seasoned and expert artist, when in fact he could have easily made a single CD with 17-18 songs, excluding some decidedly tedious parts, which lower the album's quality.

It's a shame that, although this is a ''work'' of moderate level, it still fails to attract new fans, while obviously appealing to the audience that has always followed him, without disappointing them, but instead gifting them two new tracks in line with past singles, like ''Marmellata 25'' or ''Le sei e ventisei''. He thus remains a decent but not excellent artist, incapable at this point (he is still quite young) of producing memorable masterpieces, but light songs to sing with a sense of merriment, with medium-good lyrics. In the end, it wouldn't be bad for this album to be played to twelve-fourteen-year-olds, as they would surely appreciate it. Oh no, that's right, those types don't like music.
