THE REVIEW

The Cattle Decapitation are a quartet from San Diego who are no strangers to the current Heavy Metal scene (they have just released a new album).

"The serve man", I have no words to describe this record. Rarely do you hear evocations of bands of the caliber of Napalm Death or Cannibal Corpse (I feel like I’m blaspheming by making such an example). The album is characterized by a machine-gun drumming, an insanely absurd growl that sometimes makes you think of some magical retouch; but the certainty can never be had by listening to this CD (I bought it solely and exclusively because of the bad cover since it had just come out and I was very curious) lasting thirty-four minutes divided into thirteen short tracks. You have the impression of always listening to the same track.

For fans of the genre, I recommend a superficial listen, because I find it hard to believe that there are people who can appreciate this CD. I rated it two only because, being a beginner, I didn’t feel like giving it a lower score.

Best regards.
