Once again thanks to Razorback Records for gifting us another sadistic killer creature that responds to the emblematic name of "Catasexual Urge Motivation"... a trio from Japan, directly from Tokyo, consisting of "Sadochist Spermata" (Yuzin Kanai, lyrics and artwork...), "Sadochist Eiaculata" (Tomoaki Kanai, guitars and vocals), and "Cyber EMF" who handles the drum machine.
Just typical lunatics.
Clearly, their very humble proposition materializes in a classic gore grind focused on any existing form of murder, based on elemental yet heavy riffs and very low growls.
That they are psychologically disturbed can be easily inferred from a superficial analysis of their song lyrics: CUM are indeed capable of creating songs with longer titles than their lyrics, as in the case of the twenty-fourth track "The Legacy Of A Serial Killer Lives On Forever Due To Their Uncanny Ability To Capture The Interest Of The Worlds Spectators Through The Extreme Quality, Quantity, Method And Results Of Their Actions"... a theme. Beyond this particular trait, we can quickly come to the point by saying that the present Nekronicle, adds nothing new to the scene, sometimes resulting flat and boring. For heaven’s sake, it has its good moments alternating mid-tempos, outbursts, sadistic samples, and screams of terror, but everything irredeemably feels superficial, and above all, there's a sense that a bit more could have been done, at least in terms of production.
Inside the CD are tracks from each of the group's releases, from '94 to 2003, practically a best of.
An album for those sick with the genre, perfect for stimulating in every listener those homicidal urges that occasionally peek out during the most difficult moments of a long workday; therefore, if your boss continues to treat you like a donkey making you slog left and right with no respect and you don’t have the courage to grab an axe to make him understand your thoughts, this Nekronicle could give you the necessary determination: a couple of listens and you'll convince yourself that "The Murder: It'S A Proof Of One'S Conscience And A Necessary Evil Most Necessarity" (track number 20).
