This is truly a great album. Casino Royale have always been distinguished by their great eclecticism. They started as a Ska group with Reggae influences, then discovered Hip-Hop sounds, nu-jazz, discovered London and the Drum'n'Bass scene, which was extensively visited and revisited in later episodes of the Milanese group's production. First of all, compared to "Dainamaita," we hear a little less of guitars in this work.

Ultimately, here we are faced with a small masterpiece that contains many nuances ranging from Ska to funk, masterfully transitioning through Hip-Hop and also Nu-jazz and drawing a bit from the dark rhythm of some basement or club in rainy England (just look at Massive Attack and Portishead to name just two). But the absolute best thing about this album is that when listened to 10 years later (...so today), one realizes how much Casino Royale anticipated and influenced the production of much of today's Italian scene.

If you like to get dirty with music... get it!!!
