Naples: Fifth day of the seditious gathering, the most important one. This Saturday night will be shaken by Mr. RezzaCapa.
Concert starts at 10:00 PM
First inconvenience of the night, as with every respectable "human" thing, there are always some errors or mishaps.
Well, the Music CaPa was delayed by two hours; during this seemingly endless time, the audience was in total frenzy. My Saturday night puppet and I were dying of boredom.
Here it begins! The lights dim, smoke effects fill the air, and the live show kicks off.
The intro of "Annunciatemi al pubblico" starts, and before our eyes, we have a keyboardist and bassist dressed in mourning carrying a coffin to the center stage; the second voice dressed as a priest with incense in hand is beside them, but He is nowhere to be seen.
A little more time passes, and from behind the drums, emerges Caparezza dressed as a little angel!
Sparkling as ever, he delights us with the continuation of the first song of "Habemus Capa". From the very first notes, it is clear that CaPa and the Nettles are in great shape and eager to have fun. Between the first and the second song, Capa talks about everything green, hinting that the next song is "Inno Verdano". The crowd goes wild: Capa asks for collaboration, and thousands of eyes agree. Everyone sings the march of this great song.
It's time for "The Auditels Family" Capa has a helmet with an antenna on his head and a TV slung over his shoulder, Brilliant. Then, before resuming the musical ritual, Capa takes a pause and engages in a "conversation about this and that with the audience", marveling at such collaboration and shouting, "Naples, you're amazinggg".
"I don't understand why the little ones come to my concerts and not the Iron Maiden's.
Once, driven by curiosity, I asked a child and he replied: well, because I understand your lyrics better than you do!"
So with a dedication to the children (and the child within us), starts "Fuori dal Tunnel", an unforgettable summer hit from a couple of years back. "Nessuna Razza" and Capa moshes and moshes.
A true restaurant opens up with "Stanco e Sbronzo" with bottles of wine here and there that seem to heighten the adrenaline of the five from Molfetta and an ever warmer audience sings along in rhythm and with the usual hand game from right to left "eeee my sight is drunk là là làà".
Super mosh also with "Vengo dalla luna", "Dalla parte del toro" and "Titoli" where the audience spends their maximum energy to let loose.
Other notable tracks are: "Felici ma trimoni", "La finta sassaiola dell'ingiuria", "Ninna nanna di mazzarò" and "Iodellavitanonhocapitouncazzo".
The only downside of the evening: some fundamental tracks from CapaRezza's discography were not played such as "Gli insetti del podere", "Dualismi", "Il secondo secondo me", "Habemus Capa", but it's known: if they played these, surely the played tracks would be missing, it's the law of live performances.
For the rest, it was a magical evening, Capa was in top form, giving his best. Bass, drums, keyboard, and guitar did their duty excellently. As always, Capa and the Nettles showcase their skills live.
The organization was excellent with various topics discussed within before the live: no to incinerators, no to prisons, and with film projections.
And we thank, one of the few non-commercial parties in Naples.
