Camberwell Now is an English experimental/post-punk group formed in 1982 after the breakup of This Heat. Core members include Charles Hayward (drums, vocals, keyboards), Trefor Goronwy (bass, guitars, vocals) and Stephen Rickard (tape switchboard, former This Heat sound engineer).

Their recorded legacy includes the album The Ghost Trade and the EPs Meridian and Greenfingers. Most of this material was compiled as All's Well (RecRec, Zurich) in 1992; All's Well was reissued in 2006 by ReR (Chris Cutler). The Greenfingers tracks credited in reviews also feature Maria Lamburn on saxophones, piccolo and viola.

Camberwell Now formed in 1982 after the breakup of This Heat and produced one album and two EPs later compiled as All's Well. The DeBaser review praises the band's warmer, more melodic yet original approach and highlights the dominance of bass, drums and tape loops. Recommended for listeners interested in experimental/post-punk approaches that remain melodic.

For:Fans of experimental/post-punk, listeners of This Heat, and those who appreciate rhythm-driven, tape-loop-based art rock.
