Here is the return of the German band Caliban, one of the major bands in the metalcore scene, presenting their new album "The Undying Darkness".
There's not much to say: it's the classic metalcore featuring the usual screaming vocals and clean chorus. However, it's also worth mentioning that Caliban know their craft, the songs are very engaging, but the downside of this band is that they use simple songwriting that is almost always the same. "It's our burden to bleed" and "Nothing is forever" are very nice.
Album recommended only for metalcore fanatics.
That's all.
The aggressiveness that has always distinguished this band clearly begins to give way to a more market-friendly 'fake violence,' Cradle of Filth style.
For metalcore fans, it is certainly a worthy album, albeit with some clear commercial influences.
