THE REVIEW

And what should be added when a group chooses a name like Cadaveric Crematorium? Could one possibly doubt that they are devotees of indie pop for alternative intelligentsia? Absolutely not; in fact, that's not the case, and thus there are only two possible options. The one that leads to talking about death metal, possibly brutal; and the one that leads us towards grindcore.

Well, even though they may start from two distinct points, both paths eventually converge at the same point and are equally suitable when identifying the nature of the Italian band, which with "Grindpeace" (which also highlights a dose of sarcasm not to be underestimated and which is evident both from the titles and the lyrics as well as certain tracks, "Nessun Muoia" primarily, a remake of "Nessun Dorma") reaches the milestone of four albums.

The interpretation given to the matter also has the merit of not becoming stagnant, because most of the pieces present significant instrumental and structural variations, born from a lucid and intelligently unpredictable writing, where in the swirling chaos of devastation typical of the genres in question are inserted bursts of math-core madness, hyperkinetic thrash, passages bordering free jazz-core, crust reminiscences and a constant search for refined technical solutions even in a context of furious destruction.
