In 1987, Bulldozer, after "The Day Of Wrath" and "The Final Separation," recorded their third album titled "IX."

It is an intense and powerful work, with much more personal lyrics and a sound that could rival the bands of the Bay Area. One of the most criticized songs was "Misogynists", perhaps one of the band's most controversial songs due to the lyrics that discussed its composition. The tracks are very violent, and musically the sound is more complex and thoughtful, with a voice that's smarter yet still aggressive.

"Heaven's Jail" is a lightning-fast thrash, while the Venom influences are apparent in "Rob Klister", which is indeed the drummer's name. The title track and "Desert!", which criticizes military service, are also powerful. Very amusing are the tributes to Ilona Staller with "Ilona The Very Best" and to Milan with "The Derby."

Bulldozer is a band that deserves to be rediscovered alongside Italian groups such as Vanadium, Strana Officina, Crying Steel, Necrodeath, and many others.
