Now more than ever it is time to listen to and spread this CD, which consists not only of excellent music but of music that knows how to speak and convey a concrete message, especially to us Italians... all of us.
In these years of false movement, where there is nothing left to discover and the greatest frauds and wickedness are freely thrown in your face, from the most "high" (god, I feel nauseated just talking about it) levels of the state, as if to a distinguished impotent... In this time of "favors for all" (even for those who already have too much and for those who want none) where even the music scene, like all the rest (all in solid matching color) of information undergoes shamelessly explicit cuts and censorship... In these times when the mote is exorcised in the sunlight but the beam remains in the shadow of the "backside"... In these years... there is a need for someone who disillusionedly still believes and, untangling themselves from the pompous orgy in action, can still take a stand for freedom of thought, expression, and action... Well, that’s what the Buddha Stick (aka Sergio Messina from Radio Gladio) have done... musically in an excellent and vital way.

This wonderful CD, entirely self-produced and distributed by Radio Gladio Records, was released in the distant 1996, a period when all the filth in our corrupt national reality was increasingly surfacing to everyone's eyes and not just those of the truly informed few. Printed in only 2000 copies, "Inaudito" would be a rarity if only (and here comes a very important detail) it wasn't available on a website in all its splendid entirety at the will of its producers... and the reason is written right there: "For the sheer pleasure of music, for its own Karma to grow and spread, and for the effect it will have on people and the multitude"... if this is not freedom...

This heterogeneous album speaks largely through real documents, snippets of radio/television interviews, and spontaneous recordings of lived life that blend perfectly with the atmosphere created by the music... Slow rhythms, dreamy, accommodating and relaxing melodies that facilitate and involve the listening... Twelve independent tracks linked by a common factor: Individual freedom. In this CD, lyrics and music achieve a rare expressive symbiosis that pleases the mind and heart... classy dub electronics have never been so committed and aimed at such a noble purpose: denunciation and exhortation to not betray and abandon our most fundamental and important rights. In my opinion, the most essential and committed tracks are "Sono Stufa di Tutto", "Sovrano", "Piazza della Fontana", "RadioGladio"... but you will see that you will find some very interesting little things in each of them ;)

Having said this and excluding that slice of chronic cynics, I hope many people will lend their ears to this album, primarily for its contents, then because it is an album that is nothing short of pleasant and relaxing... music capable of healing. You can find "Inaudito" on their website (but don't worry about the bitrate you see written next to each track... the sound is crystal clear), further information on Buddha Stick and Sergio Messina can be found on radiogladio.

"Above himself, on his body and his mind, the individual is sovereign" (from "Sovrano")
