"Kurt Cobain" is the first excerpt from "Vol.3: il cammino di Santiago in taxi." It will be released on February 4th, 2014. I'd like to start by saying that I am, first and foremost, a fan of Brunori Sas. I even have his first two albums in my collection of Italian records.

But let's get to the point. The track seems to have been crafted after having already learned "the little rules" of a song. It has a nice atmosphere, but certain parts remind me too much of old light music songs, and moreover, one thing I notice is that, unlike the tracks from his debut album "Vol.1", the track does not seem sincere to me. In the first album, I was able to perceive that veil of sincerity that hinted that Brunori was truly inside the songs, writing them driven by an inner voice. Whereas in "Kurt Cobain", a track that indeed precedes his third album, I do not perceive that. On the contrary, it seems to have been made just because he probably had to write new material by a certain deadline.

I conclude by saying that I am waiting for the entire album to give a definitive judgment. But for now, I do not expect much from Mr. Brunori.
