The Profile

Bros are a British pop trio formed in 1986 by twin brothers Matt and Luke Goss with Craig Logan. They broke through with the 1988 album Push and the hit singles When Will I Be Famous? and I Owe You Nothing, became a major teen phenomenon, split in 1992, and reunited in 2017. They are the subject of the 2018 documentary After The Screaming Stops.

Push was produced by Nicky Graham; in studio he handled the synth-driven production while Luke Goss and Craig Logan were largely sidelined. The album powered extensive touring (The Big Push Tour, The Global Push) and a VHS collection that the review states dethroned Thriller for all-time sales. Management and contract issues with 3 Style Ltd (Tom Watkins) and mounting costs contributed to a rapid decline. Craig Logan departed amid exhaustion and later became a music executive. The 2017 reunion (without Logan) saw high-demand O2 dates; Matt Goss built a Las Vegas residency, and Luke Goss pursued acting roles. Key tracks include When Will I Be Famous?, I Owe You Nothing, and Drop The Boy.

A reflective look at Bros’s debut Push, from studio polish and massive teen-fueled success to financial and management struggles. Notes their 2017 reunion, the twins’ post-Bros careers, and the enduring pull of the singles. Highlights tours, a record-selling VHS, and the tensions that ended the first run.
