THE REVIEW

Finally, the return of Dominic Appleton's Breathless comes after three years since Blue Moon.

Behind the Light is an album where the melodies, sweet and gentle, cradle and nurture you as if transporting you to a parallel dimension, far from this world. Only a few bands manage to give this pleasant effect.
The songs that provide a certain emotional "jolt" to the album and bring you back to reality are "And So The Dream Goes On" and "Rising."

Truly beautiful is "Behind the Light," a song divided into four parts totaling nearly fourteen minutes (minutes that fly by quickly), all gathered in a crescendo that strongly reminds me of Sigur Rós.
The final song is "Fade," a completely instrumental piece that bids us farewell in the best possible way.

Once again, Breathless are great as they always know how to express themselves at the highest levels.

Summary by Bot

Breathless returns with 'Behind The Light' after three years, offering sweet and gentle melodies that transport listeners to another world. Standout tracks like 'And So The Dream Goes On' and 'Rising' provide emotional jolts. The title track impresses with its four-part crescendo reminiscent of Sigur Rós. The album closes gracefully with the instrumental 'Fade.' Overall, Breathless continues to deliver at the highest level.
