BRAVI TUTTI - The Wheel of Misfortune

(OrzoRock Music)

The Bravi Tutti, a punk rock band from Piacenza, release their second studio album, The Wheel of Misfortune.

Ten songs that make up a fresh, ironic, and absolutely non-trivial record.

The band's style reflects that of punk rock groups from the '90s, with a sound that always feels fresh and reminiscent of bands like NOFX and Lagwagon, while the satirical and irreverent lyrics (which still contain veiled criticism of society) are reminiscent of Punkreas.

The album opens with "Festa del PD," a track that humorously addresses selling out by playing at the PD party, and continues with "Egidia," which maintains the same melodic hardcore line as the first track.

"Daniele, la ronda" breaks the rhythm by inserting ska sounds as the backdrop to a track of satire against racism, while "Leone da tastiera," again in a satirical vein, turns attention to all those who, when they find themselves behind a keyboard, feel like kings of the world.

"Roberto" is the first of three very entertaining "sad" stories (followed by "Frankie ha l’nrg" and "Gabriele"), ranging from the love story born with a friend's mother, to the fall from power of a neighborhood boss, concluding with a missed concert due to Gabriele's hospitalization.

"Flop" tells of how sad concerts are in places far from home where no one knows you and, consequently, doesn't attend the show.

"Aspettativa" and "Mutua" are instead the pursuit of a dream, which is idleness, detachment from work, and from a life adrift.
