Maybe you stop at the cover and say: “What the heck is this BBB?? The new porn by Brigitta Bulgari Bardot?” And you start thinking bad thoughts, because Bardot is also an animal rights activist…

Maybe you get as far as the back cover and say: “Aaaah, I got it, it's the soundtrack of Bulgari's latest porno. This music must be amazing!!

Maybe, instead, you discover that this is an album and the band, at this point, intrigues you; you try to get informed with friends: - “Guys, do you know who Brant Bjork & The Bros are??” - “Yes, yes, Mario Bros, I finished it…Nintendo 8 bit, remember?

Maybe, then, you decide to listen to it and discover that 2 former drummers of Kyuss (Alfredo Hernández and Brant Bjork, indeed) play in it, and also that in a couple of tracks they are joined by that character Mario Lalli from Fatso Jetson. And you find out that musically speaking, it has nothing to do with Kyuss, but also that in terms of attitude “the wolf sheds its fur but not its vice”. Songs teetering between oasis and desert, arid pieces, sunny, even if with few distortions. And among them all, you find that little gem which is “The Native Tongue”.

An album to discover… maybe with your feet in the sand.
