Brant Bjork is an American musician, drummer and singer, known as a founding member of Kyuss and for his solo work within the desert/stoner rock scene.

Former member of Kyuss and associated with Fu Manchu; noted as a drummer by trade who records many solo albums where he plays multiple instruments; Jalamanta was self-released on Duna Records and recorded at Rancho de la Luna (as noted in reviews).

The available review praises Brant Bjork's solo debut Jalamanta for its homemade production, desert-styled repetitiveness, and multi-instrumental performance. The critic highlights its distance from clichéd stoner tropes and notes strong Sabbath and psychedelic influences. Overall a favorable assessment of a distinctive desert-rock record.

For:Fans of desert rock, stoner rock, Kyuss and Fu Manchu followers, listeners of psychedelic and garage-influenced rock.

Another "homemade" production, following the model of Jack Endino that I already brought to your attention, and another album that essentially went unnoticed at the time of its release (and even afterward, if we want to be honest).
