Finally, dance music "of a certain caliber".
Our Boozoo Bajou, namely Peter Heider and Florian Seyberth, are adept sound manipulators, or rather, I'd dare to say among the best in the field, as they skillfully blend electronic dance groove with more exotic downbeat and reggae, effortlessly transitioning to high-quality dub formulas.
With this electrifying debut in 2001, the duo focuses on top-notch arrangements with a gradually building song structure, crafted with class, skill, and a keen sense of balance in mixing and instrument selection.
It's clear that percussion and bass take the lead, but all in a truly irresistible downtempo and "relaxed" atmosphere (in Jamaican, "relax" is said as Satta just to clarify).
An album meticulously crafted and realized with the utmost care and attention, it took our duo nearly two years, despite being perpetually busy with productions and remixes around the globe. A tough job, yes, but well worth it: there's not a single "thrown together" song, all are potential singles with such potential that, unsurprisingly, Satta (from 2001) was one of the most exploited albums by advertisers in the Milan "drinking" scene (remember the "No Martini? No Party!"?).

One of the trendiest and most evocative albums of recent years. I’ll buy a drink for whoever, upon playing it, isn't compelled to tap their foot or sway a hip in a dance-ridden rapture (it's just a shame that the latest release is nothing but a weak copy of this one...).
