No, we're not there. Dear Jon, this time I won't defend you fiercely, because it's not worth it. In fact, this album will be more useful for making yourself known to beautiful and young girls to "have fun with" after concerts than for being remembered in the future.

Sometimes success goes to your head, and often (getting into the mind of a rockstar) you think: "Do I work hard to make a good album, spending two years in the studio to create beautiful and profound songs, or do I just get another injection of dollars without any effort?" well yes, the answer is the latter. After the useless "Crush" and "Bounce", here's yet another coaster album that banks everything (guess what) on a single with a catchy rhythm but alas nothing more, a song that would have been decent filler on one of the old albums, those from the real darlings of New Jersey. Oh right, there are another fourteen... or not? Actually, they are there, but on the second listen, you'll find yourself more trying to erase them rather than hum along.
The reasons are different: firstly, the singing verve of the blonde Jon is gradually fading, not helped by the passage of time which his vocal cords seem to handle poorly; as if that weren't enough, the tracks could easily be from any of the aforementioned previous two works, and no one would notice; and let's admit that the quartet has now run out of ideas, because originality, as much as it has never been the band's strong point, is totally missing this time.

If you are really one of those who don't want to miss a single album from your idols, you're forgiven, otherwise invest the twenty euros of the album in fruits and vegetables, which will certainly be better for your body.
With the hope that live shows feature almost entirely old tracks, I close this useless review of this useless album.
Have a nice day.

Tracklist Lyrics and Samples

01   Have a Nice Day (03:48)

Why, you wanna tell me how to live my life?
Who, are you to tell me if it's black or white?
Mama, can you help me try to understand
Is innocence the difference between a boy and a man
My daddy lived a lie, its just the price that he paid
Sacrificed his life, just slaving away

Ohhh, if there's one thing I hang on to
That gets me through the night
I, ain't gonna do what I don't want to
I'm gonna live my life
Shining like a diamond, rolling with the dice
Standing on the ledge, show the wind how to fly
When the world gets in my face
I say, have a nice day
Have a nice day

Take a look around you, nothings what it seems
We're living in a broken home of hopes and dreams
Let me be the first to shake your helping hand
Everybody, brave enough to take a stand
I knocked on every door, on every dead end street
Looking for forgiveness
What's left to believe?

Ohhh, if there's one thing I hang onto
That gets me through the night
I ain't gonna do what I don't want to
I'm gonna live my life
Shining like a diamond, rolling with the dice
Standing on the ledge, show the wind how to fly
When the world gets in my face
I say, have a nice day
Have a nice day

Ohhh, if there's one thing I hang onto
That gets me through the night
I ain't gonna do what I don't want to
I'm gonna live my life
Shining like a diamond, rolling with the dice
Standing on the ledge, show the wind how to fly
When the world gets in my face
I say, have a nice day
Have a nice day

Now when this world keeps trying, to drag me down
I've gotta raise my hands to stand my ground
Well I say, have a nice day
Have a nice day
Have a nice day
