THE REVIEW

This is an unbounded journey into the deep ether, among nostalgic and dark atmospheres propelled by soft unease, which float upon themselves.

Through the usual minimal and vintage artwork, one visually feels the universe we are in: a series of blurred photos of children, young people, and perhaps people who disappeared, maybe still sought by some relative, distant and almost unreal; the Boards Of Canada set up an ambient documentary background, using a hypnotizing beat, through the use of analog and modern synthesizers that suspend the listener in a state of anguished harmony.

This journey passes through the cracks of rocky mountains emerging from the desert when hallucinations blur the senses; a car trip, sitting next to the driver, at night, with eyes fixed outside the window, captivated by the silence; time stands still, and there are no destinations.

It feels like crossing a dimension of ectoplasms, on the outskirts of a Scottish village, lost in the silent underground; in this journey, one is literally captured by these sensations, these sounds, the deep and electronic nature of nature.

A sea to observe multiple times. Because the image that remains is never the same.

Dayvan Cowboy which appears like a vast abrasive lagoon... finally, it becomes a liquid vortex waiting for a dive.
