Daily Home Reflections is a concept album created by the Blue Purple Bees, over nearly two years of meticulous recordings with vintage instruments, paying homage in sounds and songs to the best pop-rock of the '60s and '70s. The 10 songs that make up the album take the listener (at least those of a certain age) back to a very specific musical period, with influences from the Beatles, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Velvet Underground, managing to remain original and maintain their own style.
"Do You Know Where Is The Morning?" for example, the first song of the album, seems like it emerged from a session where John Lennon and Kurt Cobain cross paths...
"Aerostatics" is a song that starting from the Beatles opens up old and new suggestions in the quintessential classic pop song..
"Daily Home Reflections", the song that gives the album its title, starting from a White Album-style fingerpicking reaches the Kings of Convenience...
In short, for those who miss a certain type of musical writing, certain sounds now lost, "classic" songs from the golden age of pop-rock.
