The Bloody Tears, a Heavy Metal Band, decided to record a Demo in November 2004, consisting of three songs. The quartet presents itself as follows: Frank on vocals and guitar, Andrea on bass, Mark on drums, and Fede on guitar. They are four young people from the province of Lecco with a strong desire to play and a lot of metal running through their veins.
The Bloody Tears offer us metal with quite hard sounds and riffs, but I believe it's bearable for anyone's ears. Drums, guitar, and bass play with a certain ferocity, like "Thrash", while the vocals lean more towards Heavy.
The first of the three songs is "Wings Of Pain," a quite rocking piece, just to give us a direction, it's a song in the style of Metallica. After the second chorus, there are two mini tapping solos. Anyone who wants to listen to it should visit the band's website. Next is "Mind Destroyer," as the title suggests, it's even more rocking and includes a huge solo. I personally find these two tracks leaning very much towards Thrash. I want to invite the listener to hear both pieces multiple times to fully understand them. The third and last song: "I Saw You." This is a very moving ballad, it immediately pleases on the first listen, and I was really left speechless in front of this composition worthy of a high-caliber group. Truly compliments. It's a pity they "bash" a little too much with the instruments, but that's the way it is... that's the genre. There are a couple of pretty simple but engaging solos (rightly in ballads, it's correct not to overdo it).
Overall, I find the three pieces well arranged. There is a need to "extremize" the solos (not those of "I Saw You") and there is a need for some highs. Moreover, the bass remains somewhat buried by the chaos created by guitars, vocals, and drums.
I believe that Innocent Rage should not be the end for the Bloody Tears but a starting point for a great musical journey. In fact, I hope that Frank can produce more compositions so that more demos can be recorded, perhaps while waiting for a real album. With all sincerity, I encourage and wish the Bloody Tears a good continuation of their musical career.
