Formed in Leicester, England; part of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal. Founded by Jim Sirotto; Brian Ross is the defining vocalist, with early involvement from Sarah Aldwinnckle. Debut 7" Buried Alive/Blitzkrieg released by Neat Records in 1981. Debut album A Time of Changes released in 1985. Ross also sang in Avenger and Satan, recording Satan’s Court In The Act. The track Blitzkrieg is widely known and was covered by Metallica.

Review focuses on Blitzkrieg’s debut album A Time of Changes (1985): lean, classic NWOBHM with standout vocals by Brian Ross. Highlights include the title track and Blitzkrieg; faster cuts like Hell To Pay and Armageddon shine, while some hard rock-leaning tracks feel weaker. Drumming is deemed serviceable, not spectacular. Context notes the album arrived as the NWOBHM wave was waning.
