I eagerly awaited the release of this album for two reasons:
1) The first because as soon as I saw the video for "Fallen Angel" (the first single from the album), I fell in love with their look halfway between early Motley Crue and Kiss, and also because the song has an exhilarating chorus and the video is in full Hollywood style.
2) The second reason is because BVB began their career in 2008 offering a Emocore quite different from the new Glam Rock style proposed in this CD.
"Set The World On Fire" opens with the explosive "New Religion", a technical and aggressive track in the riffs where BVB demonstrate all their creativity in the composition phase; I love the guitar solos present throughout the CD. Other noteworthy songs are indeed "Fallen Angel", the rockish "God Blessed You", and "Set The World On Fire" (which gives the album its title), the most beautiful song of the entire album in my opinion. The song "Rebel Love Song" and the ballad "Savior", which I consider one of the most beautiful ballads of recent years composed of excellent guitars and a truly captivating final scream, are also fantastic.
Overall, I really enjoyed this album, halfway between Glam Rock and Emocore. It is a valid alternative to the music that is being pushed on us lately. Listen to them, folks, because this band deserves it!
