The important thing is to still get emotional...

Aggressive people can be of two types: the first is made up of those ignorant assholes who are ignobly convinced they have the truth in their pocket and can/must spread it by any means; usually, they are arrogant and aggressive through so-called social media, among crowds - where they can be even more noticeable - or on pointless TV shows and the like... usually, on the contrary, when they have to do it one-on-one, they shit their pants and turn into the last of the cowards.

The second type is people like me, who seem that way because they can't let the miseries of this world roll off their back and, unfortunately for them (us), they get upset about every situation, even the slightest, where they think there is no justice, sincerity, loyalty, dignity. You can imagine, in a world like the one we "live" in... being like this is a true existential drama; if you happen to be compulsively emotional as well... it's over ahahahah.

I watched it again the other night, and I was moved, as always. The famous big, tough-looking guy who gets his heart captured so easily.

They are the ones who make me enjoy it the most for having screwed over all the industry's powerful ones; record companies and specialized press above all. These powerful ones, so clever and intelligent, had immediately labeled the four Nobles as incapable. Congratulations, scumbags!

“One of the things I am most proud of, in my heart, is that Black Sabbath was not created by any big shot... we were four losers who wanted to try to make a dream come true, which ultimately did, exceeding all expectations.”

Exactly, Ozzy.

The tour ends in their Birmingham, the city they will always be linked to with an indissoluble bond. The same unique bond that ties them to their audience.

“Ending in Birmingham was fantastic. That's where we started, and that's where we had to finish.”

“I will miss our audience, there is nothing like it. That’s another sad thing about quitting, no longer being in touch with those people. It was their life just as it was mine, and they lived the same things I lived. It's fantastic to know you have touched people's lives in this way. They are part of us.” Tony

Need anything else?! I don’t think so, but if so, just look their “audience” in the face!

A guy who seems not to believe anything he’s participating in while his eyes shine with emotion, and a noble big tear fills his cheek, or a lady who puts her hands on her face, completely overwhelmed by that whirlwind of emotions she will never manage to describe in words...

The chorus of “War Pigs” sung by all of Birmingham in unison is everything. Cathartic is an understatement... “You can sing with your heart,” says Ozzy.

There are no rock stars and fans; the faces are the same, and the respect and total esteem are there on both sides in the same indisputable measure.

Dignity and pride are represented primarily by Tony. Not even a bastard tumor and chemo could stop him just as they were recording the album before the tour.

“He’s always been a warrior,” says a moved Geezer. “I wanted to complete the album, the last thing I wanted was to sit and despair,” exactly...

“Iron Man” is total pandemonium... that riff, Ozzy’s memories, the chopped-off phalanges...

“Black Sabbath,” their first song born by chance, that chorus which is now a timeless classic…

“We did the usual 12-bar Blues,” says Greezer (because yes, the first Sabbath album is blues - cit. Nes)

The special relationship of complicity between Geezer and Tony is well-known: “The feeling with Tony oozes, it gets into my soul... it’s as if he takes me out of myself, there's no one else like him”... but you are to be praised and damned together Geezer because it feels and shows that everything comes from your Noble heart...

Yes, Geezer the most emotional ever. He speaks and tells us, but he could also remain silent, his eyes say everything. “I have butterflies in my stomach, I feel like a condemned man, as if something terrible is about to happen,” he says before the start of the Concert.

The final encore with their “Paranoid” with all of Birmingham jumping to the legendary riff of the Moustache is the worthy conclusion of it all, and Tony’s satisfied and proud expression as he looks at his audience for the last time is worth the whole movie alone.

A few days later, they find themselves in a studio, simply to spend a little time together. Talking and playing around calmly. Like old great friends. Ozzy always looks for a joke to ease the emotions of the moment, but it’s impossible even for him “I couldn’t sleep the night of the Concert, damn, I was totally on edge” ... “But can you believe we’ve been around for fifty years?! We shouldn’t be alive for the pace at which it’s gone... it all happened so quickly, soon we’ll all be dead” Ozzy is a riot and makes everyone laugh but...

But Geezer can’t, and while they play “Changes”...

“It’s been a long journey with four guys living in the same place. Black Sabbath was everything to me, my best friends Tony, Ozzy and Bill, are everything I've experienced in my adult life. What we do is like the air I breathe, and I want to hope we'll do something together again one day, somewhere; not a world tour like this, but it would be nice to do something together”... and while Tony pats him on the back and Ozzy hides his emotion with his (fake) clowning, He can’t raise his gaze... Greezer I feel very close to me...

“I think we play better than ever, but at some point, you have to say enough, and I don’t want to die on stage; that's not how I want to bow out. They will remember us at our top and not as a band that keeps going until the audience gets tired of seeing it”... such nobility now lost by all, Tony.

They always speak of "THEM 4," but the big problem, no need to beat around the bush, is that Bill is not there. I certainly can’t presume to judge situations only They know. But one thing is certain: among true friends and true men, it can happen that you tell each other to go to hell, not speak to each other for years, even get into physical fights or send lawyers to court... but sooner or later, time brings advice, feelings overcome those false obstacles and everything goes back to the way it was, even better... at least that's what this damn life taught me. Therefore, I am convinced that the great Bill, in the end, is angrier with his own sick, old heart that doesn't allow him to do what he would like than with his three guys...

When End must be, thus it is (almost) perfect... as everyone should do. Your music, your passion will remain forever, at least inside me.

Thank you so much for everything.
