English band formed in 1993 by Shaun Ryder and Bez after the dissolution of the Happy Mondays. Debut album 'It's Great When You're Straight...Yeah' was released in 1995; follow-up 'Stupid Stupid Stupid' arrived in 1997. The group had a split around 1998 and regrouped for occasions in 2010 and again from 2015.

Formed in 1993; founders include Shaun Ryder and Bez; members have included Kermit and Psycho (from Ruthless Rap Assassins), Jed Lynch, Paul "Wags" Wagstaff and Anthony Guarderas. Debut album noted for eclectic instrumentation and unexpected commercial success; second album received more mixed reviews. Reconciled in 2010 and again in 2015.

Black Grape formed after the end of the Happy Mondays and released a surprising, eclectic debut in 1995. Reviews praise the debut's energy and eclectic instrumentation while finding the 1997 follow-up less consistent. Key singles include "Reverend Black Grape", "Kelly's Heroes" and "In The Name Of The Father".

For:Fans of 1990s Britpop, funk-rock, hip hop fusion and alternative dance

A bold and spot-on album like few others, ideal for bringing back good humor.

"Stupid Stupid Stupid" was released in 1997 and, alas, there were no repetitions... at least, commercially speaking.
