I think this album is the perfect soundtrack for something coming to an end. Not an abrupt, forced, and unexpected conclusion, but a natural ending, after having completed its rightful cycle. This thing reaching a conclusion could be a love story that, with the awareness of both parties that it is now over, leaves room for a bittersweet sense of emptiness and hope, but it could also be adolescence giving way to a young man with a more mature outlook, even though still full of insecurities... Or what may have ended could simply be a day that, as the sun dives into the waters, gives way to a dark and mysterious night where imagination can freely wander toward the future or pleasurably dive and drown in an abyss of memories, intoxicating itself with the echoes of voices from the past. Every time I listen to this wonderful album, I can't help but imagine someone observing the sea and the starry sky above it, hearing the symphony of their own thoughts merging with that of the waves caressing the rocks and with that of the wind whispering timidly disconnected words that we are not yet ready to understand. Words of a story, of an incident which, as we savor the ambiguous feelings of this rightful end, are already beginning to form the first chapter of a new beginning, a new cycle. An album I recommend to you sensitive and melancholic souls, if not tormented, because in it you might find a mirror in which to reflect and transform your discomfort into a sweet nostalgia to savor like a fresh drink while sitting on a low wall, indeed, facing the sea.
